"Even a palace can be a prison."

Last eve, I watched the story of Buckingham Palace's first occupying Queen, Victoria and her treasured husband, Prince Albert. Luscious costumes and settings make The Young Victoria a must for all Anglophiles. Expect to see viscounts, waistcoats, tattersall pants, ascots, top hats, powdered wigs, ringlets falling from bonnets, chess, archery, allees and an English Springer Spaniel. One of the producers was Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.

I loved this movie too. I borrowed the DVD from a friend. I want to see it again and I can, anytime I want.

I can't wait to hear about the wedding. Happy Mother's Day.
