Bernardos

All through my high school years (late 60's, early 70's), Bernardo sandals were the shoes of preference. Sandals can be worn year round in South Florida and that they were. Shown above is the "Miami" sandal, a classic favorite and available in an assortment of colors. Completely constructed of soft leather, sole as well, they are soooo veryyy comfy. And I love the sound they make as I am walking!
Typically, these can be purchased for $89, but today at Neimans they are on sale for the stellar price of $65. With a slightly different strap of woven leather, they are equally as nifty. Just purchased a pair in black for me and white for the dau who is a college student in Florida.

Oh, I LOVE Bernardos. They are so comfortable. One of my earliest memories is of my mother wearing her pink Bernardos in the 80's- she had those shoes for years.

I love these. I may have to get a pair. Do you remember Papagallos?? I had a pair I loved . . . so long ago, alas.

Thanks for visiting!

Hello, Hanna! Thank you for stopping by my blog! I love your space here, full of interesting, exciting things--my favorites too--tea, wine, gardens, flowers, footwear--LOL! Those sandals look sooo comfy. Oh, I took the fun flower quiz some posts back here--turns out I'm a daffodil! Happy Days! :o)
