iPod users beware....

Yesterday, my iPod was plugged into the USB to my Mac Air charging.  Hiss, hiss..... it began to fizzle, spit and smoke!  Apparently, the batteries can become hot and catch fire!  Seems Apple forgot to tell me about the possibility of such a thing.  Google for more stories of episodes. :/

Goodstone Inn

In its bucolic setting, the Goodstone Inn is a wonderful location for a dinner. We enjoyed the long and winding ride out through horsey country for a wonderful meal. I was waiting for Thomas Jefferson to walk through the doors. Caution: portions are more than generous. Share with your dining partners, for sure.

Birds, humor and a storm...

I recently dined at The Hamilton in Washington, D.C., named for Alexander Hamilton and the newest addition to the Clyde's Group, which was followed by a performance of the always hysterical Capital Steps. Then, a drive home through a derecho. Yikes.
