toot, toot, tootsie goodbye!

On two occasions, I have suffered from heel pain resulting from wearing flat shoes including flip-flops (leather) for long periods of time. The pain is excruciating and drags on for months before it completely disappears. This morning, I heard this piece on NPR which interested me.

I live in flip flops year round... and if I wear shoes it's mostly backless heels... WOW... interesting information you have provided.
Thanks for stopping by my site too... come back by when you're not playing golf ;)
I haven't been playing regularly... I miss it! I was playing 3 or 4 times a week.

Welcome fifi,

Mark Twain said, "Golf is a good walk spoiled." But I love to play anyway!

Visit again soon,

I heard that article, too. I knew flips were bad for you, but not how bad.

The uglier the shoes, the better they are for your feet! I swear by anything with a cork bottom - I, too, suffered the excruciating pain from plantar fascietis.
Cork bottom clogs, tevas, LLBeans cork bottom slippers... so glad you stopped by my blog.
