Bentwood Rocker

 Purchased in the 70's, this bentwood rocker needed a refurbishing. I stripped it and slathered it in tung oil. The seat and back were then re-caned.  I am pleased with its new look.

Jumping for joy...

This young man, made of wood,  was hand-carved and painted in Southern Germany many years ago.   I was drawn to the delightful detail in his clothing and chapeau, as well as his smile.  Pull his string and he will dance.
