Additional architectural finds

Acquired while in Germany, here is a door panel, on one occasion, part of a cabinet, which features four panels of beveled glass attached with lead and hand-carved wood detailing. I included a brass hook at the bottom.

In an earlier time, this piece was attached to the front of a drawer... keyhole remains as well as a place where pulls were formerly attached.

Dutch cigar molds... I like the positive and negative visual to these.
I enjoy rescuing pieces such as these. A good cleaning and restoration is usually all it takes, plus the installation of some fastening devices to the back . They create further interest to wall groupings.

a need exists...

Haiti is perhaps the poorest nation in the world. As of this morning, generous Americans had donated over 3 million dollars to assist with the recent devastation in Haiti.

For those interested in helping immediately, T-Mobile customers can simply text 'HAITI' to '90999' and a donation of $10 will be given automatically to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts."
