In 2003, the USDA estimated that Americans ate 79 pounds of high fructose corn syrup in one year. Need to be further educated as to what you are actually eating everyday?
I watched this on PBS (Independent Lens) quite some time ago. These two young men had their hair tested and learned that their bodies were made of Corn. That horrible High Fructose Corn Syrup is in everything.
Watch or record Oprah today. I think Michael Pollan and Alicia Silverstein are going to be guests. Should be good. xo, Rosemary
It IS in everything, for sure. I just ate a low-fat yogurt, which I consider to be a good lunch and/or snack food. Upon reading the label, I see that it contains HFCS and modified corn starch. Yuch!
